RULES, POLICIES AND PROCEDURES
Membership privileges are non-transferable Any member who allows another individual to use their Schussmeisters ID will lose his/her privileges for the rest of the ski season. Any non-member found using a Schussmeisters ID to obtain services is subject to persecution under NYS 165.15-Theft of Services and 190.25-Criminal Impersonation. These offenses are punishable by up to 1 year in prison and/or $1500.00 in fines. Two forms of ID other than your Schussmeisters ID may be requested any time you attempt to exercise your membership privileges. A driver’s license, major credit card, SUNY ID, or passport is acceptable.
2. Membership refunds will be given only when presented in writing to the Board of Directors by the close of business on Friday, November 30, 2007. No request will be honored after this date regardless of the condition of the refund request. A $15 service charge will be assessed.
3. Lost or stolen Schussmeisters ID cards must be reported to our office immediately. An answering service can be reached 24 hours a day. Without such notice, Schussmeisters will assume that any compromise of a membership ID is a willful act of the member. Lost or stolen ID cards can be replaced one time only for a fee of $30.
4. Second semester new and transfer students will be permitted to join the club at early discount prices from January 14, 2007 through January 25, 2007. New students must have a notice of transfer or acceptance.
5. Lesson packages offered through Schussmeisters can be changed from one area to another on or before November 30, 2007. Call or stop by the office for more information.
BUS RESERVATIONS AND RULES
1. Reservations are taken between 9am and 2 pm according to the Schussmeisters clock. NO RESERVATIONS WILL BE TAKEN AFTER 2 PM NO EXCEPTIONS – CALL EARLY
2. The Schussmeisters ID number and Name of each member are required.
3. Members may make reservations for other members; however, availability is on a first-come, first-serve basis. No seats will be available once a bus has been sold out.
4. To make bus reservations you must call before 2pm ON THE DAY YOU WISH TO SKI. Reservations can not be made a day in advance, only the day you wish to ski. YOU MUST HAVE YOUR SCHUSS ID TO BOARD THE BUS NO EXCEPTIONS!
5. Cancellations can be made up to 3pm on the day of the reservation. Schussmeisters ID numbers are needed for cancellations. If you fail to make the bus 2 times without proper cancellation, your membership privileges will be suspended until a fine of $20 is paid to Schussmeisters.
6. Bus Departure Schedule: Ellicott – 5:15pm Governors – 5:30pm Main St. – 5:30pm Kissing Bridge – 10:30 pm Holiday Valley – Wed 10:30pm, Fri 11:00pm
7. SKI/SNOWBOARD BOOTS MAY NOT BE WORN OR BROUGHT ON THE BUS AT ANY TIME. Boots will be placed in the bay with skis/boards. Violations of this rule will result in loss of bus privileges until a $25 fee has been paid to Schussmeisters.
8. Guest Passes a. Each member is allowed 2 guest passes per season. b. You MUST take the bus if you buy a guest pass. c. The price for each guest pass is $29. d. Guest passes must be purchased in the Schuss office or by credit card over the phone the day you wish to ski/make the reservation. e. Members are responsible for the behavior of their guests. f. GUEST PASSES ARE NON-REFUNDABLE.
DIRECTIONS TO SKI RESORTS
Kissing Bridge – 290 East to 90 west, take exit 55 to rte 219 south. Take Armor Duells exit to rte 240 South. Follow signs to KB; pick up lift ticket at Central Ticket office.
Holiday Valley - 290 East to 90 west, take exit 55 to rte 219 south. Take 219S through Ellicotville, turning left to stay on 219. Turn right onto Holiday Valley Road. Pick up ticket at ticket office.
Cockaigne- I-90 west to exit 59 to Rte 60 south to Sinclairville. Continue on Rte 66 east to Cockaigne.
Peek N’ Peak- Travel west on I-90 to I-86/Exit 37
